"Management is most and foremost about human beings." This is more than just a quote from Peter Drucker. It is a deep-rooted belief that informs all that we do at the Drucker School of Management. In the context of today's social justice and equity issues, our conviction about the value and purpose of all people and the role we each play in contributing to a functioning society has never been more relevant.
Please join us on Tuesday, August 11, from 12:00–1:00 p.m. PDT for a virtual symposium on "The Human Side of Management," the first event in a series of important dialogues that will explore the intersection of social equity and Drucker's timeless principles. Drucker School Professor Bernie Jaworski and alumni Maya Guice (MBA, ‘16) and Athena Chiera (EMBA, '19) will share their insights in a panel discussion moderated by Interim Dean and Clinical Associate Professor Katharina Pick. Participants will have the opportunity to submit a question when completing registration for our panelists to answer during their discussion. Questions will be addressed as time allows.
